The Maryland Community Midwifery Collaborative (MCMC) works to expand equitable access to community-based midwifery. We begin by listening to families, birth workers, clinicians, and community partners, and those perspectives guide everything we do next.

We know meaningful systems change takes time. No single effort can reach every community or remove every barrier, so we focus on building enduring relationships, shared learning, and room to grow as new voices join.
